The WEICI India, (Women Entrepreneurs International Chambers of India, Mumbai) is inviting women from all walks of life — entrepreneurs, professionals & homemakers to experience an iconic first of its kind event in Mumbai.

Ghoomar India- A Cultural Dance Marathon will be held on 9th April 2022 at Bhatiawadi Hall, Ghatkopar East, Mumbai 400075. Many senior dignitaries, philanthropists and businesswomen, including Mrs. Sunita Singh, President Janhit, Mrs. Manju Lodha, Chairperson Lodha Founation, Dr. Meera Shankar, Director SNDT University Juhu Campus, Dr. Sunita Dube, and Chairperson MedscapeIndia/FitIndia Movement, to name a few, will be a part of this cultural extravaganza.

The unique event has a long royal and proud tradition of celebrating unity, culture, women wood, and empowerment.

“The title of the event ‘Ghoomar’ is inspired from the traditional dance form from the state of Rajasthan. Just like how the dance form is unexplored, there are several skills and powerhouses of talent in India that are yet to be explored and promoted,” says  Dr. Mamta Singh, Director of WEICI India.

Dr Singh explained how women entrepreneurs can benefit through business networking, exchange of ideas, collaborations and cultural initiatives thereby enabling self-growth and career enhancement.

After successful completion of Ghoomar India, WEICI India will be travelling internationally where the team will showcase performances and promote Indian handicraft, textile, organic products, tea and tea masala, bamboo products, jewellery, spices, etc along with Afro Asian Trade Fair 2022.
